Its gonna be the end of week 4 now, hectic hectic. Year 1 is relaxing, now that year 2 exams are counted, must strive and work harder already. Went to quite a lot of presentations by international and global law firms, its all good i say, they sold themselves quite well. Ahhh and they provide free canapes and finger food too !!! they serve wine and u can see lots of law students dressing up formally with tie and suits the guys especially, talking to senior partners and lawyers in the firm. Most of those presentation were held in Royal Marriot Hotel. Plan to apply for the vacation scheme here in a law firm, but its a tough competition, competing with all ang mo's- British. and out of 17 places, there are a few hundred applicants. Need I say more? hmmmmmm then the application form is so lengthy summore.
Alright, enough whining. None the less, i enjoy this year's courses. Jurisprudence - the philosophy of law OR the general study of law. Hmm...interesting, Karl Marx's teachings and Pluto and Mars haha just kidding, lame i know, well, its Pluto and Aristotle and not forgetting......Feminism. Ahhh von's fave topic.
